The water has gone down a bit now but is still high enough for my brother to kayak on what used to be our front lawn :D  Some people i know had water up to their waists in their house!! Noones been hurt or killed though as far as i know.

I went to bed last night with the gentle sound of rain on the roof, AND WOKE UP WITH A LAKE INSTEAD OF A PADDOCK NEXT DOOR!!!!!!  There was a massive amount of rainfall and the nearby town where i go to school made national news. People even had to be evacuated!!! Most of the plain where i live was under water or VERY wet. As i write this we have a lake in our front yard that is slowly making its way up to our house. Exciting stuff!!!
